New Zealand's Active Investor Plus visa: tighter source-of-funds rules, and Build to Rent from December 2026

New Zealand has tightened the rules on how investors may borrow and move money for its residence-by-investment visa, and from December 2026 it will let Growth category applicants use approved Build to Rent funds. The headline amounts have not changed.
