Ownership, editorial policy and how we verify

Jurisdicta is a review of the jurisdictions where international business is established, licensed and banked. It is published by Marensa Advisory FZ-LLC, and we state that ownership openly here. The magazine carries no advertising, no sponsored content and no promotion of the publisher's services.

What we cover

The economies, regulation and cross-border structures of the jurisdictions listed below, and how they come together, read through one question: where should a business be established, licensed and banked. If an item does not bear on that decision, it does not run.

Each issue carries ten sections: the Cover story, The Economy, The Rulebook, The Structure, Immigration by Investment, Wealth and Succession, Field Notes, By the Numbers, a Jurisdiction Profile and The Diary.

Immigration by Investment reports on residence and citizenship programmes. We do not act for, rank or recommend any programme or agent, and figures are taken from the official programme authorities. Wealth and Succession explains the rules on wills, probate and family structures; it is general information, not legal advice.

Covered systematically: United Arab Emirates, DIFC, ADGM, Ras Al Khaimah, Mauritius, Seychelles.
Covered on material change: British Virgin Islands, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, United Kingdom.
Covered when relevant: Cayman Islands, Luxembourg, Malta, Labuan, United States, Brazil.
Always monitored: FATF, OECD, European Union.

Who writes it

Each section is reported by a named desk with a defined beat; the bylines link to the desks. Editorial responsibility for everything published rests with the Editor and with Marensa Advisory FZ-LLC as publisher.

How we verify

Every factual claim is placed in one of three tiers before it is written. A claim that fits none of them does not run.

Kind of claimOur standard
AWhat a rule, deadline, fee or instrument saysPrimary source only: the regulator's document, the gazette or the Act. Commentary may point us to a development; it is never the authority for it.
BA reported event: a deal, a licence granted, an opening, a market figureAttributed in the text to a named source and written as reported, not asserted as fact.
COur reading of what it meansAlways labelled Our reading and kept separate from the fact it comments on.

Independence and conflicts

We do not accept payment for coverage and we do not run advertising or sponsored content. Interpretation is always labelled and kept apart from fact. Structures in The Structure are illustrative and never describe a real business. Nothing in the magazine is written to promote a product or service.

Corrections

If we get something wrong we correct it in the article, note the correction and the date, and do not quietly edit. Report an error to editor@jurisdicta.news.

Publishing schedule

Published every second Sunday, from 18 October 2026. Issues are numbered and always ship; a thin fortnight produces a shorter issue, not a missing one.

Not advice

Jurisdicta is general information. It is not legal, tax or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for advice on your circumstances.
